Welcome to Medieval Dogs!
The goal of this website is to:
- Gather information about dogs in history, focusing on medieval and renaissance Europe.
- Make the Knowne World of the SCA* a better place for our dogs by increasing opportunities for canine participation
educate event stewards about accommodating dogs create more events for dogs based on period activities while being compatible with skills in real-world dog sports (so that, for example, an SCA agility dog would not be lost on an AKC agility course, and vice versa)
